    Volunteers preparing for 2024 Avoca Main Street Farmers Market Season

    You may just be experiencing a bit of false spring, but Farmers Market Managers are already preparing for peak growing season! This past weekend, Market Manager Linda Schumacher attended the annual Iowa Farmers Market Association traning, and won a prize for her performance in the food safety quiz! 
    Linda Schumacher has been the Market Manager for Avoca Main Street since the market's inception in 2014. In 2024 we will be celebrating TEN YEARS of the Avoca Main Street Farmers Market, and we want to make sure all our growers, customers, partners, and volunteers know how grateful we are for helping create such a successful market. 
    We are currently creating the 2024 Vendor Application and Guidelines. If you would like to participate as a market vendor this year, please fill out the form below. The Avoca Main Street Farmers Market runs every Wednesday evening, 5-7 p.m., June through September
