    Join familiar neighbors and new friends for a five-course, chef-hosted, all-local community feast in beautiful downtown Avoca, Iowa.

    Come join us for a fantastic community gathering with Happy Hour beginning at 5 p.m. at the Avoca Veterans Community Center at 112 N Elm St. At 6 p.m., weather permitting, we'll move outside to enjoy live music and five courses expertly-curated by Chef James Calkins from local producers and Avoca Main Street Farmers Market vendors.


    This year's menu includes  herbed bread and babaganoush, tofu kale salad, tomato soup, pork stir fry, and lemon matcha tiramisu. All food procurement prioritizes farmers and food producers within fifty miles of Avoca, Iowa and contains the season's peak flavors.


    Paul Hart and Jackie Johnson will be providing live entertainment sponsored through a grant by Community Foundation for Western Iowa.
